Not sure if Jack would care, but Vinzent has gotten worse ignorant questions. So he… Could say that. And see what next nonsense Jack will spout. Will this be going for hours? Who knows!

Jack squinted. “Then wouldn’t it just be stuck on the…” He trailed off, whether because he’d finally managed to put the pieces together (unlikely) or because the topic just didn’t seem worth pursuing.

And just as the whittling was starting to look halfway decent, he decided it was weird to have someone watching and just picked up the pace to wander elsewhere.
