Abel Lazarus So Fabel probably would think they’re friends! She hasn’t been mean to him and they’re playing games together. That’s what counts, right? That’s all you need?
It’s such a simple way to think about things - something that FAsuka still will overthink slightly. Still, they’re friends, and that’s enough for now.
Even better - it guarantees there’s not going to be any complaints about the game chosen, as odd as it might be. Besides, it sound like the kind of thing a grownup would do, and FAsuka is sticking to her point about being very grown-up!
Stifling another sniffle that seems to be creeping up on her, Asuka nods her head.
Abel Lazarus “… We could play Office? I want to be a Secretary.”
“I don’t know the rules, so you gotta tell me. And I wanna be the boss if you’re gonna be the secretary! Secretaries always need a boss, and I’m totally gonna run my parents’ perfume business anyways. Cuz I’m supposed to, but still!”
It’ll probably be nice, because her parents love business, and so if Asuka ever becomes part of that business they’ll pay attention to her too. The fact that there’s a chance this may be wrong doesn’t seem to occur to her. Why would it?
Instead, FAsuka forces herself to look more confident, because that’s what a boss was supposed to be, right? She’s still careful as she holds onto Bunroe, giving Abel an anxious glance once in a while, before she decides to finally properly focus on Fabel.
“Can we work for a perfume business? Does that work?”
