Fenna Van Daalen “Well aren’t you a nice young man! Fenna’s spelled how it sounds, then V-A-N-space-D-A-A-L-E-N. My husband had some Dutch in dem, y’see.”

“Got it! Thanks for the detail!”
As he looked for either his or Fenna’s letters, he understood he was being adressed again about… Ah.

“Ah, yes. It’s them. Had a totally fun conversation with them earlier.”
The last part was clearly dripped in sarcasm. He did not like them in the slightest, but R.N.A. did not make it even easier, so it was hard to say which one he disliked the most. … Anyway. With that confirmation that it is possible to find a letter to anyone here, Vinzent was now more determined to find his. Screw sending one, he wants to read what is written to him!
… Ah-ha!

“Found mine! Gimme a moment.”
Almost as if he’s in a hurry, Vinzent opened his letter, the one clearly marked as his name, then he found … A combined printed email? He recognized his own email address and Lena’s. When was the last time she wrote to him that way…? They’ve always texted to each other on a pretty regular basis lately, so maybe she had a lot to say that an email was preferable over texting…
Taking the time to sit down to read what was addressed to him, Vinzent was seen smiling softly pretty soon as he reads on, it was a long read; a lot was said in the content, it seems.
… Then he was surprised to find a contribution from his brother in the same message? … Ah, Leon was hanging out at Lena’s place at that time of writing, makes sense. And more news from him and his parents!
As Vinzent continues reading, Fenna could maybe detect… Tears? But it wasn’t long before Vinzent goes on to dry them before he’d cry more. That was embarrassing, nearly crying in a room with near-strangers, over a fucking printed email. But still… Vinzent did not regret reading the letter at all. It was a gentle reminder that he wasn’t alone at least.
… He’s going to keep it close to him. It’s really fine if he can’t send anything at all. Because sometimes, reading the kind words from your loved ones is more than enough.
Vinzent will still help Fenna find her letter after this little well of emotions has passed. He hasn’t forgotten! He’s just emotional at the moment!
