Oh. Well, that makes things a lot more complicated, doesn’t it? Asuka lets out a sigh. As much as she hated this whole thing, everybody was making good points. Which sucked, because she still couldn’t do any of the detective stuff. At least they sort of paid attention to her, right? Taran even said she was right!
Taran "Off the top of my head it looks like it could be Comedy’s. They obviously got hit in the head with something and there’s blood on that rock too, right?”
“So it’s probably Comedy’s. I mean, it clearly can’t be mine unless I have shitty hair dye or something, and I was with Haruka.” It’s as close to cooperative as you’re getting from her. She’s not really going to protest.
Asuka opens to mouth to speak again, probably to add something, before Haruka speaks. Asuka seems to be surprised, before clearing her throat.
“Ugh. Yeah, doubting people here’s tough, and it seems like it’s not anybody here. But if we don’t nominate anybody, it’s probably risky for us. ….And gives less chance for justice or whatever. And we don’t know what the other groups will do, which is total bullshit.” This was kind of a no win situation, wasn’t it? Asuka idly picks at a nail. “Throwing one of us up when three of us have alibis, and the other seems kiiiiiind of unlikely? Also would suck, because we’re kind of wasting a slot. So we either go total rando or go with alibiless, I think.”
She pauses, shrugging. “I think. I dunno, I did terrible in school because it was boring and stuff.”
