Neither of those two had noticed another Segway tucked in the corner by the entrance, distracted as they were with bloodthirstiness.
Matsukaze has been in Back and Body Hurts for awhile, sitting on the floor in the back to give their leg a break and just… sniffing candles to have something to do. Some of these smelled really good… They were just opening a Peony scented candle when there was a sudden clamoring ruckus at the entryway, which startles them. They turn around quickly– to see one of the display tables blocking their view. Well.
That’s what the mirrors were for. They look up to one of the theft-discouraging mirrors and their blood runs cold.
Viper and Abel.
They were fighting. Or well… Viper was fighting. Abel was begging for. For his life.
Matsu scrambles to their feet, noticeably favoring their right leg and nearly pulling down a tower of shea body butter onto them.
“Hey!” they shout, but neither respond. They move closer, gradually picking up their pace – “Viper, stop!”
She ignores them.
It’s when she puts her hands around his neck that they break into a near-sprint for the last few meters, much to the protest of their leg and their lung. “What the fuck are you doing?! Let go!”
They grab at her arm, one hand gripping her uniform sleeve and the other her hair to try and pull her away. She was trying to kill him. They aren’t strong enough to break her grip that way, so impulse strikes again.
Matsu takes a step back for momentum before bodying her, hitting with their shoulder and as much force as they can to try and knock her to the side and off of Abel. They put everything into that, way more than their attempt to shove Jack, and as a result will almost definitely go down with her in a tangle of limbs.
They couldn’t just let Viper and Abel die in front of them. Not like this.
