…Asuka just kind of blinks. Is this actually going to be more awkward than even she expected? That’s…Ugh. The familiar wave of frustration is back, but lashing out will make her feel worse, and that would suck! But she can’t just not be frustrated, so all Asuka can do is let out an irritated little huff.
“Puh-lease, we have nothing to worry about, because these are fine, upstanding Denizens. We’d know the type, wouldn’t we.” The laugh is only slightly exaggerated, made to be slightly refined in nature than it normally is. There is nothing different about the volume, which does manage to stand out slightly considering the setting,
“The event has gone swimmingly. I’d say it’s, like, totally magnificent, in fact! It’s clear quite a bit of thought has been put into the decoration and music choices - not to mention, every Denizen has such a unique, striking outfit. It’s the quintessential ballroom experience.”
Asuka’s expression, despite those words sounding sincere, says it all: She’s absolutely bored with it. She despises the setting. She’s just used to it.
…It’s still really hard to resist the urge to look for a weapon to just see what chaos she can cause. Which would instantly ruin everybody’s day, so she can’t even do that.
