“Good! Good, don’t feel like you have to speak, don’t strain yourself. That’s it.”
At least he was responsive. They had a little bit of time, then.
Roadie 🪶Jack “And infection you got stuff for, yeah? So just stop the bleeding??”
Haruka sighed, managing seemingly effortlessly to stay patient despite Jack’s atittude. Poison was something she hadn’t wanted to think about, because on that point at least, he was right. It felt unlikely they’d be able to identify it in time, let alone find an antidote… but that kind of thinking wasn’t helpful.

“I have some antiseptic, but that won’t do much if he catches something nasty. We’d rather that didn’t happen in the first place.”
Did robot cats carry diseases? She certainly hoped not. When tetanus was the best-case scenario, one generally wanted to keep it that way.
Haruka was less than prepared for having the sash thrown at her. After all, she was quite busy right now trying to ignore the existence of the gun. She yelped slightly and then fumbled to pick it up off the ground where it had fallen before it could become too dirty. Who knew what was on this floor…
When Dexter spoke up, she looked up at him with big eyes.

“Is this sentimental to you…? I’ll need to take the badges off anyway, so you can have them, but I’d hate to think I was going to ruin something special to someone…”
Then again, she’d hate much more to see Abel get any worse. The baby bird cuteness to her pleading might not have been entirely unintentional (although it was absolutely natural).
And then she was taken by surprise again, this time by - an entire set of washrooms? Well, that was incredibly odd, but this was not the time to be looking any gift or gacha horses in the mouth. Who here could help her get water? Wait - when Jack had been… offering critique, didn’t he have a bottle?

“Excuse me - Jack, yes? Could you fetch some water for us? Just wash out the bottle first, if you can.”
Taking charge was important in these scenarios, she knew, but Haruka didn’t really have the charisma required to make that into an order, as opposed to a polite request.
And finally…
Narrator Eyes sparkling, the creature ambled over to Abel and looked around hopefully.
Haruka laughed slightly nervously as the creature approached. “Ah, I’m not sure if your fur would make the best dressing… I wouldn’t want it to get stuck…” It could be an okay last resort, she supposed.
