Vinzent is also trying his best to not go on too touchy topics either. He just wanted to know Abel better at this moment.
As he looked at the aunts, he smiled at the pictures. He noted that Evelia looked fun to to be around! Kobe looked a bit off putting, but then her husband looks friendly. Opposites attract maybe? It’s always fascinating when it occurs. And Vinzent wasn’t so different from that. He took note of the children, letting out a chuckle at the grumpy girl. Rebel phase, much?
When Abel said that piece of information, the artist was delighted.
“That’s awesome, I appreciate a creative fellow…! I’m glad she has fun doing what she loves.”
He supposed it was Abel’s own reasons for either telling a lot or not much about his family members. When Abel apologized (?), Vinzent brushed it off.
“Don’t worry about it, it’s enjoyable to get to know you and your family a little more! And… Yes, now that you mention it, there’s someone dear to me that I haven’t talked about yet.”
Looking through his phone again, Vinzent found it pretty easily. Mainly because he has spent so much time with her that many pictures of these two together were inevitable.
Picking a few to show to Abel, Vinzent smiled.
Abel could see a taller redhead in sport gear in all these pictures, and she’s easily several inches taller than Vinzent himself. Some pictures seemed to be taken at home, while many others were taken either at public places, amusement park… To name some. Of course, Vinzent doesn’t show all the pictures, but the same woman appears in all the pictures Vinzent shows to Abel.

“Lena, she’s my best friend. She’s been always to my side since I remembered…! We may be opposites in a lot of way, as she loves doing sports, especially tracks, and me not much. And then… The obvious.”
The obvious being their very different builds.
“…But she’s been always there for me, no matter what.”
“… Even when I was going through especially rough times.”
He’s not going to tell Abel that he used to date Lena before but split up with her on good terms. Not now. And he certainly isn’t willing to give more details about… These times either. Maybe Next Time.
