Roadie šŖ¶Jack āAnd I hope thereās at least a Panera gift card in one aā these, but that oneās not goinā so well.ā
Ah. So thatās how this was going to go, wasnāt it?

āā¦Are you just searching for money in these envelopes, then? Weāve already left that car with the gumball machine⦠and who knows if we should even get to keep anything we obtain here to take with us outside. That could be entirely in vain.ā
If she was questioning whether or not any of these items would stay, why was she so dead-set on getting the painting, then?
āā¦And none of us will be taking anything with us off this train if we donāt leave this car. So should we be stuck on this car because you tore through someone elseās letter⦠they donāt seem like the type of people that would take kindly to that.ā Atsuko herself, however, didnāt seem particularly fussed about it.
Secondlyā¦
āā¦What is āPanera?āā
Jackās hands never slowed. His knife was to him as Atsukoās lighter was to her, it would seem.
Roadie šŖ¶Jack āOh, and congrats on the painting. Looked like I missed out on some real excitement there.ā
Atsuko clutched it tighter, making sure not to let it slip from her hands, should Jack or someone else attempt to take it from her again. Over her cold, dead body, perhaps.

āā¦Perhaps it was āexcitementā to you. To me, it was pure frustration. Taking something of mine that should belong to me, and expecting to get away with itā¦ā It should have been hers all along. Thankfully for a certain someone who got a certain other item, she was too preoccupied with the painting to see it had been obtained. So there was one less fight to be had.
āā¦The end justifies the means, I suppose. It ended up in the right hands in the end.ā
