Abel Lazarus
Getting the blushing off worked… For now. Recomposing himself, Vinzent nodded while smiling.
“Yes..! Oh, sure I can explain. Well, I’ll try to not over complicate it. Basically I create digital art sections for different interfaces. Sometimes it’d be for the web, sometimes mobile format, but most often, I do visuals for installations that can be interacted with! Think of festivals, virtual expositions for example, or… Orchestras!”
Orchestras might be more Abel’s vibe. Vinzent is Trying.
“It takes a lot of planning, timing and of course, coordination between us team members in order to make the project work with the theme. Some people will take care of the sound, others like me make visuals, sometimes animation, but that animating part is really more for the storyboard and animation department, so mostly my team and I hand over concepts and work on them until we all agree on the best one to use for the project. Then when the art part is done, we leave it to the other teams to make sure it is all working out well, including testing, before the big day. We have sensors that detect movements and the programmers work on it to make sure it’s working as intended for the commands to work.”
A pause.
“Then the public comes by and they can interact with the installations by themselves! It’s fun seeing people’s amazement at figuring out what’s happening!”
He added gestures to illustrate what he meant while explaining, because he knew it was… Quite technical. Hopefully Abel isn’t too lost by that. I’m sorry Abel, you’ve Opened a Special Box. And he’s finding out Vinzent talks so much with vitality too.
